I can still hear all our manic giggles. Michael, you are such a HUGE sport!
So fun to find such randomly appropriate graffiti! So fun to find a client that will quickly say “OKAY!” to laying down next to it!

baby olivia {St. Louis Maternity Photographers}

Yesterday Kim and I had one of our favorite maternity sessions ever! Ok, it WAS our favorite! Bethany was up for ANYTHING so we took her all over the place and made her change clothes about a million times! And her husband, Michael, just laughed the whole time… he gets major props for not getting sick of us! HA!
So I was editing their sneak peek last night and Bailey was sitting next to me. She saw the belly and asked, “does that mommy have a baby in her tummy?”
“yes she does, and the baby will be born soon!”
“what is the baby’s name?”
“well, they haven’t decided yet”
(really they HAVE, but it’s a secret and that seemed hard to explain to a 4 year old!)
“oh. well I think they should name the baby Olivia and then come over here to show me the baby and say thank you for naming her!”
HAHAHA!
I was laughing so hard!
So until we learn the REAL name, baby Olivia it is!

This is the TINIEST of sneak peeks because we’re running out to a newborn session today on this wet and gloomy morning… I guess our days of taking our babies outside is over. Boo. But don’t worry Bethany and Michael… we have LOTS more to share so check back this afternoon!

Sorry this sneak peek is a little delayed. Shortly after finishing this session, I ended up at Cardinal Glennon with my youngest son. A post to explain what happened is coming, and will serve as a PSA to all moms of boys!

fresh moms

Ok ladies! Are you ready to take better photos of your kids? Or your dogs? Or your husbands gardens? Sorry, but what husband LIKES to be in front of the camera? HA!
Anyway!
Kim and I are SO excited to announce our Fresh Mom class! We’re running it sort of like a Discovery Toys party or something and we got this awesome idea from our good friend Tami (super GREAT photog in AZ!).
