Have you guys ever heard of Rosie Pope? WELL, as cool as she seems our own Erin is WAY cooler! St. Louis is SO lucky to have their own Baby Planner! We will come back SOON and share Erin’s awesome new website with you (featuring our images!) but for tonight we wanted to share, well, ERIN! We met up last week to shoot some head shots for her website and had a blast! Our always awesome stylist, Katie Mohr, came with us and did an incredible job! Her and Erin had shopped the day before and OH MAN did they pick some cute things!
We don’t do a lot of head shots because head shots can be so BORING but Erin was awesome! She was up for anything, trusted Katie and us and I think the results are so fun! Erin, we hope you love them!

Didn’t Katie do an AWESOME job? And could Erin be any cuter? I mean seriously! Thanks girls for making our job SO easy!

The Allen family just got a whole lot sweeter with the birth of our new cousin, Harper! Chris’s cousin, Shayne, and her husband Dan just welcomed Harper into their lives and we couldn’t be more excited! A new baby to hold and cuddle and play with! I can’t wait until Christmas when we’re all going to fight over who gets to hold her! I know I might be biased because she’s family but seriously, she is the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen! And she was PERFECT for Kim and I at her session! We only had a short time to get a few shots and not only did she sleep the whole time but she even smiled! Oh man I love this little girl!

Do you die over those cheeks? Oh my gosh!

Congratulations Shayne and Dan! We are so happy to love this baby girl as we welcome her into the family!

Sam and Avery | St. Louis Family Photography

My sister came in town for like five minutes for a funeral and during the one morning we got to hang out we did a few quick photos of my nieces. I’m contemplating doing sessions in Madison, WI where she lives the weekend of Oct 22nd so I can ALSO photograph her family but at this point I’m not sure they will happen so I’m VERY glad I got these few shots of Sam and Avery for her.
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN BOOKING A SESSION IN WI PLEASE LET ME KNOW ASAP. Email me and I can send you the info!
Kim and I usually edit most of our images in both color and black/white and so I did that for these too but I am just in love with the b/w tonight so that’s all I’m showing! Abbie… don’t worry there are color ones too!

Parker and Sam are BFFs. I love seeing Parker SO happy when Sam’s around… she really just loves her so so much! I love seeing our kids all together! AH I wish they lived closer!
So for the sessions in WI… Kim can’t come because well, she has SEVEN kids with so many things going on so a weekend OFF for her is a blessing and a weekend away for her is just impossible. Sessions in WI will not be the full Fresh Art experience because I’m missing my better half! It’s just me and your kids or your family. No newborn sessions because in our opinion doing them alone is just plain unsafe. But family sessions or just some fun shots of your kids would be perfect for me! Maternity? Sure! Love light? YES PLEASE! Engaged? Awesome! New baby? Nope, sorry.
I’m still working out the WHERE but the cost will be $450 for a 45 minute session yielding 10-15 images on a full-res disk. NO gallery will be uploaded because it’s too hard+confusing when you’re so far away. Your disk will be mailed four weeks after the session just in time for Christmas! Saturday October 22 and Sunday October 23. I want to book up Saturday and leave Sunday free just in case we need a rain date. Email me at jodie@freshartphotography.com if you’re interested!

We had a sweet AWAKE little man the other day! Jaxton was SO sweet but he was SO not sleepy! Oh man did he make us work but it was so worth it!

Once he was truly asleep he was a dream! Thanks Matt and Tayler for contacting us to capture Jaxton’s first days!

My mom asked me what was wrong this morning because the blog has been quiet and the GOOD news is that it’s been quiet because we’re shooting so much right now! It’s a good problem to have! Too busy shooting to blog!
SO this sneak peek is the first in a long string of sneak peeks this week! Good stuff!
Lately, as in the last year or so, almost all of our newborns book our Baby Plan which is SO awesome because we get to see them three times in one year! It’s the best part of our job to watch our babies grow!
Take a look at tiny little Addie…
And look at her now!

We love this family! Thanks Moulders! Can’t wait to see her at her birthday!

Saturday Kim and I had the pleasure of hanging out with Elise who is due with her first baby in October. She hired our FABULOUS stylist, Katie Mohr, and together they did an AWESOME job on her clothing/hair/everything! She looked amazing!

Would you believe that it POURED down rain not once but THREE times during this session? We’ve never seen anything like it! We were running around like crazy people dodging the drops!
A big thanks to Katie and Elise for making our job so easy!

Roman | St. Louis Newborn Photography
Posted on September 4, 2011
Last week we got to meet the sweetest little man, Roman. He wasn’t a sleepy little guy but was still so good! I’m celebrating my anniversary this weekend with Chris and we’re tucked away for a two day getaway so I’m not going to say much in an effort to make this the only bit of work I do! Being kid-free is not something to waste on work! Chris dozed off though (which is in itself a luxury) so I thought I would get these posted for Lori because although we just met her, we adore her!

Hat was for Daddy, puzzled look was for the crazy lady with the big camera leaning over him! HA!
crown found HERE.
Thanks Standard family!
Happy Labor Day everyone!
