  1. Don’t you love how they touch your face, your hair, everything that is ‘mom’ to them? I’m going to be sad when Colin calls it a day. Very sweet pictures!

  2. I literally began crying the moment I realized what those were photos of. I nursed Madeline until she was 12 months old. She weaned herself and I wasn’t ready for it to be over, but I dealt with it. Now with Lydia she self weaned at 10 and a half months and was TOTALLY NOT READY FOR IT and I am obviously not emotionally over it as I am sitting here crying! I loved the connection. I loved the way she grabbed my hair like Grayson is grabbing yours. I loved that I was the only one who could fulfill that need. I loved that she was still my baby. With Madeline I KNEW there would be another baby for us. This time, I am just not as certain. I wasn’t ready for it to end.

Thank you so much for sharing these photos. It’s my own personal therapy session.

  3. woo hoo!! I feel the SAME way about the images I have from you, both the “chop suey” session and the drab field/colorful clothes minisession. Truly they are treasures in my life, so I am so glad I could do that in a small way for you.

    Good luck in your adventures!!
