Oh how I loved this family! The kids were awesome and SO full of personality! I love that! We explored a part of the city I haven’t been to in years which was so much fun… I love exploring new spaces because it just makes me fall in love with my camera all over again. Forcing yourself to step outside your normal comfort zone is so good for your creativity too… I came home just wanting to shoot more and more which is not my normal feeling in the midst of the busy fall season!

I say this a lot but I always mean it… I have the best job in the entire world… this was such a joy!

I have to share what an amazing girl this is… she babysits for the Porters, loves the family and gifted them this session. I babysat for a lot of incredible families when I was her age and so I totally understand loving those babies like they’re your own. I think that’s why this hit so close to home for me. There was a family (Hi Abby!) I babysat for all the time before we were married that I would drop anything in my own life to be available to them. And even though I was HORRIBLE back then I gave them tons of photos of their kids! HA! If only I’d done what Jess did and gift them a professional! Thanks for choosing me, Jess, to capture the Porter’s for you! One of my all-time favorite sessions!
