Santa came through this year and we tried our best to fill the rest of the things on our kid’s lists but I love doing something special just for them too. Usually I give the family our big family photo book from the previous year but well, after the busiest fall season of my life, our flood and now Influenza B hitting our house I am just out of steam. So totally last minute I took three photos, had them printed, bought frames and will have these under the tree for the kids to hang by their beds.
Teds, Pink Sheep and DogDog with Blue Blankie. I think they’ll love having a framed photo of their best friends!
Also… if you haven’t seen THIS please go check it out… it will remind you that there is SO much good in this world! And if you want something you can do with your kids to help Sandy Hook Elementary go check THIS out and start cutting! Bailey and I made some and got them in the mail today! She’s so excited!
I think this is one of the best ideas! I love it. You are such a good mama.
Cute idea! It’s so funny. My kids never attached to any stuffed animal or lovey. Max went through a time when he would pick the free newspaper in the plastic bag up off the porch and carry it around and have to sleep with it etc, but that’s about it. (I know that sounds like he doesn’t have any toys, but I swear he does! 😉 )
Jod,This is darling! What a great idea.
Cute! Good quick thinking Mom! Will’s little Pooh Bear actually made our LP xmas card. (that you’ll probably get tomorrow or friday). And, just wanted to say thanks for the first “THIS” link. I hadn’t seen that. And I needed that.
best christmas gift ever!
I’m headed outside right now to do this! What a great idea.
This is such a cute idea! I think I am going to do the same and surprise my kids with it in their new rooms when we finally get to move into our house. Thank you for the inspiration!
