Oh man how I adore this family! Megan and I can be together and no topic is off limits which is how I roll with all of my good friends so I love that we’re so comfortable together. We could literally sit and chat for hours… I cherish that. And I love that I can joke around with Josh like he’s a brother. I was counting it up and in the last two years we’ve photographed them seven times I think. But as comfortable as we are together you’d think we saw each other every week! I love them. I really do. And I love that they trust me with their families milestones like birthdays, births and just life in general. They are such good people and it was amazing to be able to drive out to St. Claire where Josh grew up and photograph their whole family at Josh’s parent’s house. It was a gorgeous morning on beautiful land and just a great way to celebrate Levi turning TWO!
I took so many images so I’m limiting my sneak peek a bit…. so you won’t see all the cute shots with the grandparents and ALL the cousins. Instead I’m concentrating on Megan, Josh, Levi and Millie plus Megan’s sister’s sweet family. I don’t think they’ve had professional photos taken before so showing them some of the sweet shots we got I thought might be a fun treat for Meredith! Many more to come you guys!
Megan and Josh built this little Huck Finn inspired raft for Levi to play on… he thought it was pretty awesome!
But he thought jumping off and running away was even more fun!
Luckily he had two Grandma’s there to chase him down and catch him!

I took as many photos as Levi would let me before he was just totally done and Millie looked down in every single one of them. Oh it broke my heart because look how cute Levi is in this one! I texted Megan to warn her (because I feel really badly) but ultimately taking photos of a 4 month old baby and a toddler is just never easy and rarely comes out perfect! Luckily they have a lot of years for the perfect portrait! And I still love this one!
