My parents have always been involved with the Episcopal City Mission and we’ve been taking the kids to their Summer Celebration since it started (it might have even started before kids!). It’s a favorite night of the summer! If you are interested in helping kids in detention centers please consider looking into ECM – they are doing great things here in St. Louis!
