That’s what she told us at the end of this maternity/family session… “I want her to hear more laughter than tears.”
This amazing family contacted us to document their pregnancy and birth soon after receiving the most devastating news expecting parents can hear, they will not be bringing their baby home. Baby Grace has a condition called Potter’s Syndrome, or the absence of kidneys. Without kidneys to produce amniotic fluid, their lungs cannot develop properly. So with an amazing amount of faith and courage, they feel blessed to be able to carry this child for as long as possible, and know this little baby has a purpose and has already touched many lives. They wanted us to share this story, their story with you, our blog readers, so you also can be touched by Baby Grace. Pray for them. Tell others to pray for them. Pray they get to have time with their baby. Pray for a miracle. Pray for their strength. When I say they are the sweetest, kindest, most gentle family, it is a total understatement! They exude so much peace, and I’m just not sure I could stay so strong! Jodie and I feel so humbled and honored to be let into their lives, to be touched by them and Baby Grace. And Big Brother was the best 2 year old I’ve ever met! With the most amazing eyes and smile! Leave them comments here. Visit their CaringBridge site and send them your love.
