I am really excited to be partnering with Mary Price from Finch Vintage on one year old portrait and cake smash sessions this fall! This is something new I’m offering and later this week will be debuting a new section of our website dedicated to these fun sessions as well as a new First Birthday Package! Wyatt was our first baby to practice our new idea on and WOW was he a sweet and smiley boy! I couldn’t have asked for a better model! His mom, Nicole, had his outfit already so Mary built the session around the outfit making for a nautical theme – this made the planning a bit easier but you can come to us with NO specific ideas and we will come up with something fantastic together so no worries!
The cake came from Catherine’s Cakery – she always does an amazing job and EVERY SINGLE MOM tells us how GOOD it tastes too (as they lick the cake from their fingers!) as if they’re surprised! That just means there are lots of not-so-good cakes out there but Catherine’s are not only adorable but SO yummy! I’ve been CRAVING one of her chocolate cake pops and Mary and I promised each other we’d order some of those for ourselves and the Moms for the next shoot!
