Kim and I spent yesterday afternoon cheering on the Normandy Vikings again and although they played a great game, Helias High School from Jefferson City came out ahead and will be advancing to the State Semi Finals.
Even though Normandy is not normally a school we would cheer for, especially since Kim’s daughter goes to another high school and C teaches at yet another one, Normandy has become close to our hearts and we were so upset at the loss. BUT. There is always another season and the kids that played this year played their hearts out!
Chris always tells his kids to leave their hearts on the field. And that’s exactly what Normandy did.
I seriously can’t watch highschool athletics without getting teary eyed… it just brings back all those memories of how hard everyone tries to do so well… great pictures Jodie and Kim, awesome job catching the players and the emotions in the stands.. awesome job!
I L.O.V.E. the photo of the cheerleaders! The smile on the girl in the front is priceless and I don’t think I could ever get that far off the ground… at least without some serious help!
These shots are great – especially the bright colors in the crowd! I wish I could jump as high as those cheerleaders!!!
Oh, you two just do it all, don’t you?! It keeps you creative and sharp when you do stuff like this. And I find it most enjoyable. Great shots!
Football photos are fantastic, but DARN those girls got height! LOVE those cheerleaders!!!
I love the “feel” of the photos. You girls got it goin’on!
okay – the russian shots (girls jumping) is AMAZIN!
